England and Wales have some of the most famous fly fishing locations in the world, from the classic chalk streams such as the rivers Test, Itchen and Kennet in the South of England to the equally famous limestone rivers Wharfe, Ure and Aire in the Yorkshire Dales.
The spectacular Welsh rivers Wye, Severn and Dee offer superb fly fishing as do the beautiful Lake District rivers Eden and Eamont. The Derbyshire Peak District has it’s own place in angling history with Izaak Walton having fished on the Rivers Dove and Wye.
The Cotswolds offers the charming River Coln flowing through typically English countryside.
All our locations also provide excellent stillwater fly fishing from mountain tarns with wild brown trout to stocked lakes and reservoirs for brown and rainbow trout. For the Grayling enthusiast most of the rivers we use hold a good head of often large Grayling. The rivers in some locations provide an opportunity for the fly fisher to try for a salmon or sea trout and more exotic species such as Shad or Char reside in the rivers and lakes in certain areas.
