The nearest complete fly fishing service to central London
Go Fly Fishing UK provide top quality fly fishing tuition and fly casting tuition by fully qualified licensed instructors, guided fly fishing days and corporate fly fishing days (see below) - all at scenic countryside fishing locations to the west and south west of London.
There are some great fly fishing waters - chalkstream rivers and stillwaters - only an hours travel time from central London in the counties of Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey, West Sussex and Wiltshire. Such famous fly fishing waters as the River Test (pictured above right), River Itchen and River Kennet are within particularly easy reach of London.
Go Fly Fishing UK has its main south of England fly fishing tuition locations in Hampshire (4 different lake locations), although we also do tuition days at lake locations in West Sussex and Surrey and river locations in Hampshire, Berkshire and Wiltshire. We use fly fishing waters near to the towns of Southampton, Portsmouth, Petersfield, Andover, Salisbury, Basingstoke, Winchester, Romsey, Farnham, Guildford, Newbury and Hungerford.
Take a day out from the city, relax by the waterside, have fun and learn the art of fly fishing. If you wanted to travel down from London by train then we would be happy to arrange to collect you from the nearest railway station and take you to the fly fishing venue.
A guided day out fly fishing with Go Fly Fishing UK would include:
- private guiding and tuition by qualified guides/instructors
- fly casting and fly fishing tuition
- the fishery fishing day permit
- loan of all the necessary fly fishing tackle, flies, etc.
- take home some of the fish you catch (or put them back alive)
- railway station or accommodation collection/return

"Just wanted to say thank you for giving Matthew such a fantastic day fly-fishing yesterday. It was everything he’d hoped it would be AND MORE! He and Stuart had such a fantastic time."
Amanda Green - Tuition day, 5th January 2008.
"Thank you again for an incredible day, we really couldn't have asked for more fun or a better guide, and I'm pretty sure the bug has now bitten for both of us in a serious way (if you'll pardon the weak pun)."
Aubrey & Craig Price - Tuition day, 17th October 2007.
